The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, April 9 reveals Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will share a bitter truth with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland).
Also coming up, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will confront Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins). Plus, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will make a shocking admission to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). And Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will tell Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) she needs this to be over.
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis will meet up with Summer and tell her everything she learned from Chance. And Summer will be horrified, when she says Alan may have died and Martin’s been impersonating him. “Are you telling me that the same person who abducted you, who tortured you, was living in the same house as my son?” Summer will ask.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sharon Says She’s Out Of Patience And Energy
Phyllis will tell her daughter not to worry, he’s not living there now. Talk will turn to Summer’s relationship with Chance and she’ll say they’re through. “I think Chance realized I’m maybe not completely over Kyle.” Phyllis will laugh until Summer says he could be right. “You’re not going to try to make a play for Kyle, are you?” she’ll ask.
At Sharon’s place, she and Nick will discuss Alan and whether or not he’s actually Martin. Then Chance will come to the door and say he has news. He’ll say he found video equipment in the farmhouse. They also found Sharon and Phyllis’ cell phones that the captor confiscated.
Then Chance will get a lead and take off. “I’m out of patience and energy, it’s been months and it feels like years,” Sharon will tell Nick. “There can’t be more. Find the guilty party and put him in a cell, this has to be the end of it.”
Meanwhile, Jack will put Traci’s call on speakerphone, so Ashley can hear it. They’ll realize that Alan is back in Genoa City, as they hear him and Traci arguing. “Why is your hand in your pocket Traci, are you hiding something?” Alan will ask her.
But Traci will say the conversation has turned upside down and it’s frightening her. “I want you to leave!” she’ll tell him. So, he’ll apologize and say he’s been acting like an ass. However, he still senses something has changed. “Just tell me what you’re feeling, trust me to return that honesty.”
Jack will knock on the door and Alan will ask if it’s her phone she’s clutching. “Did you signal Jack to save you?” Traci will go to the door and she’ll see Jack and Ashley there. They’ll pretend to be surprised to see Alan. Ashley will say she understands congratulations are in order but he’ll tell her it’s premature.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Alan Asks If Chance Is Interrogating Him
“I don’t understand what made her change her mind, maybe somebody said something to her,” Alan will add. He’ll say he needs to clear his head. “Wait,” Traci will reply. She’ll kiss him and tell Alan to take all the time he needs, she’ll be waiting for him.
After Alan leaves, Traci will say he didn’t trip up for a minute. But Jack will point out that he tried to blame someone else. “When I looked into his eyes, all I saw was sadness,” Traci will say. Ashley will say she’s known Alan for a long time and it’s not him. “I’m so sorry, it’s been Martin all along.”
As Traci sobs, Ashley will say she thought she heard it on his voice on the phone. “He was trying to convince you he was somebody else,” she’ll add. “It made me sick because I know who he is, he’s the man who attacked me honey.”
Traci will say he came back with all these wedding plans and she’d done a one eighty. “Maybe I scared him.” But Ashley will say it’s Martin. If Alan had survived, maybe they really could have fallen in love. Then Jack will call Chance and tell him Martin left the room.
Finally, Chance will spot his suspect in the restaurant. “Dr. Laurent,” he’ll say. “Do you mind answering a couple of questions for me?” So, Chance will ask him about the farmhouse outside of town. He’ll say it was rented by someone from the clinic in Paris.
He’ll ask if he’d find his fingerprints there. “I have the feeling I’m being interrogated and I have no idea why,” Alan will reply. Chance will ask if he’d like him to explain it. “I’ll give you a ride down to the station.” Then Traci will storm downstairs and confront Alan. “If you ever felt anything for me at all, you tell me who you are – right now!”
